Community Raises $20,000 for Arts Centre Endowment

Last year, the Port Moody Arts Centre launched an ambitious fundraising campaign in celebration of our 20th anniversary. Our goal was to raise $20,000 to double our Endowment Fund, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Arts Centre. We are thrilled to announce that with the generous support of our community, we have achieved our goal. The Arts Centre Endowment fund now totals $40,000!

Together, these contributions will have a lasting impact in support of arts education and exhibition programs at the Arts Centre.

We would like to acknowledge the generous support of the Panatch Family Foundation, whose substantial donation in the final stretch of the campaign made it possible to achieve our $20,000 goal. We are inspired by their generosity, enthusiasm for the arts, and commitment to enriching our community!

The gift from the Panatch Family Foundation builds on the family’s long-standing history of contributing to organizations that support health, education, and inclusive community-based projects both locally and around the world.

Kush Panatch, Principal of the Panatch Group (formerly Centro Properties Group), has been involved in Real Estate for over 30 years. As the Panatch Group continues to grow, they remain grounded in the values that Kush stands for—generosity, kindness, and excellence in everything that they do. After several years of generously supporting the wider community, Kush formalized his charitable giving by establishing the Panatch Family Foundation in 2015. Panatch gifts a portion of each sale of a home by Panatch Properties to worthy causes through the Panatch Family Foundation.

Our vision is of a world where communities take care of each other.

Guided by a vision of a world where communities take care of each other, the Panatch Family Foundation strives to do their part to create a vibrant, kind, and inclusive society for future generations—their contribution to the Port Moody Arts Centre Endowment fundraising campaign does exactly that. With their help, we can continue to create meaningful opportunities for arts education, inclusivity, and social connectedness in our community for the next 20 years and beyond.
